Description

Silvered purple leaves with darker veins make Heuchera hybrida Carnival Plum Crazy a defined foliage plant for shaded border fronts. Its compact mound also fits patio containers and ground-covering groups.

Creamy white flowers rise above the foliage in spring and attract hummingbirds. The plant is deer resistant and tolerates summer heat while staying best protected from hot afternoon sun.

Grow it in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in partial or full shade. Mulch yearly, divide raised crowns in late summer or early fall, and remove winter-damaged leaves in spring.
