Description

Crocosmia Lucifer is a robust, clump-forming cormous perennial for the middle or back of a summer border.

Pleated sword-like leaves make a strong vertical base beneath arching, branched flower stems.

Scarlet-red tubular flowers with warmer orange throats open progressively from early to late summer.

Grow in sun or partial shade in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, watering during prolonged dry periods.
