Description
Ulmus glabra Camperdownii forms a dramatic broad dome of contorted branches that sweep toward the ground. Its large, rough dark green leaves create dense summer shade and turn yellow in autumn.
Usually grafted onto an upright trunk, this slow-maturing specimen tree needs generous room for its spreading crown. It tolerates varied soils and urban conditions but remains vulnerable to Dutch elm disease.
