Description
Hydrangea paniculata HYLV17522 forms a compact, bushy mound of strong stems topped by dense conical panicles. Flowers open pale lime green and cream in summer, then deepen through pink to red-pink as they age.
Grow it in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, or in full sun where the soil remains reliably moist. Water consistently through the first two years and mulch to conserve moisture. Lightly trim the previous year’s growth and old flower heads in early spring, avoiding a hard cutback. The plant can irritate skin and is harmful to pets if eaten; wear gloves when handling.
