Description
Dense blue-green foliage on purple stems gives Ilex meserveae Blue Prince strong year-round structure for hedges, screens, foundations, and the back of borders. This upright, fruitless male shrub produces small, fragrant white flower clusters in spring and pollinates compatible female blue hollies.
Give it full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil and shelter it from cold winter winds.
