Description
Veronica spicata Glory builds a dense, compact clump of dark green foliage and produces abundant, tapered spikes of deep violet-blue flowers from early through late summer. Removing faded spikes encourages more bloom, while the flowers draw bees and butterflies to the border.
Plant it in full sun in moist but sharply drained soil. Its low, upright shape fits the front of borders, gravel gardens, courtyards, and wildlife plantings, and deer and rabbits usually leave the foliage alone.
