Description
Paeonia Bartzella brings large, fragrant lemon-yellow flowers with soft red center flares to the late-spring and early-summer border. Strong stems carry the semi-double blooms above a sturdy mound of deeply divided green foliage without needing support.
Choose a permanent spot in full sun or partial shade with deep, fertile, humus-rich soil that stays evenly moist while draining freely. Shelter the flowers from harsh wind, plant the crown shallowly, and top-dress with compost each fall.
