Description
Abundant blue-purple flower spikes cover Nepeta Dropmore from late spring into fall, rising above a broad mound of aromatic gray-green leaves. Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators visit the blooms.
This compact perennial fits sunny border edges, gravel gardens, rock gardens, and containers. It also works beneath roses and shrubs, where its low spreading habit forms a flowering foreground.
Plant it in well-drained soil and full sun; partial shade is useful in hot climates. It handles dry soil well. Trim after flowering to keep the mound compact and encourage more bloom.
