Description
Ruffled lime-green foliage gives Heuchera Lime Marmalade a bright, textured presence in shaded borders, edging, and outdoor containers. Its vigorous clump forms a rounded mound, while slender green stems carry small white bell-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer.
It grows in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. The plant can be massed as ground cover or used to brighten woodland-style planting, and its flowers attract pollinators and hummingbirds.
Keep the crown at soil level, mulch annually, and divide every few years. Remove tattered foliage in early spring and deadhead spent flower stems to keep the clump tidy.
