Description

Pure white summer flowers brighten the low, spreading mound of Geranium sanguineum Album. Deeply divided green leaves create a fine texture, while trailing, clump-forming growth closes over bare soil at border fronts, rock gardens, and cottage-style plantings.

Plant in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly while plants establish; mature plants tolerate short dry periods. Shear flowered stems and old leaves after flowering to encourage fresh growth, and divide established clumps in spring or fall when needed.

This plant is toxic if eaten by people or animals. Keep it out of reach of children and animals that might chew it.
