Description

Eutrochium maculatum Snowball is a vigorous upright perennial with strong green stems, whorls of dark green serrated leaves, and broad rounded clusters of creamy white tubular florets. Its late-summer to early-autumn display brings a luminous vertical accent to borders and provides nectar for bees and butterflies.

Grow it in sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil, where its strong stems handle normal rain and wind well. It suits cottage borders, prairie-style planting, wildlife gardens, and rain gardens. Water during dry periods, then cut the old stems to the ground before spring growth begins.
