Description

Campanula carpatica Pearl Deep Blue deep violet-blue open bells create a saturated color cushion in summer. The compact mound slips neatly into rockeries, edging, and mixed containers. It matures to about 15 to 25 cm high and 25 to 35 cm wide, giving it a clear role in rock and alpine gardens. Its blue, purple flowers are expected from June, July, August.

Give Campanula carpatica Pearl Deep Blue full sun or partial shade; protect it from avoidable heat or drying wind while roots establish. Keep soil evenly moist while establishing, then water during extended dry periods without leaving roots waterlogged. Deadhead or shear lightly after flowering to maintain a tight mound. Watch for slugs, snails, aphids, and spider mites may occur.
