Description
Juniperus scopulorum Skyrocket creates a strong vertical accent with a remarkably narrow column of dense, silvery blue-gray evergreen foliage. A mature tree commonly reaches about 4.5 to 6 m high while remaining only 60 to 90 cm wide, making it useful where screening height is needed without a broad footprint.
Plant it in full sun or light partial shade in any well-drained soil, including chalk, clay, loam, or sand. Water deeply while it establishes, then reduce irrigation because mature plants tolerate drought. Little pruning is normally needed. Use gloves when handling because the plant is harmful if eaten and may cause a skin allergy.
