Description

Goldfinger shrubby cinquefoil forms a sturdy, bushy upright shrub covered with fine pinnate green leaves. Large golden-yellow, five-petaled flowers open generously from late spring through summer and into autumn, creating a bright, durable display for borders, low hedges, and sunny foundation planting.

Grow it in full sun or partial shade in well-drained chalky, loamy, or sandy soil. Water deeply during the first growing season; once established, the shrub tolerates drought and moderate dry spells. Feed before new spring growth and prune lightly after flowering if a tidier outline is wanted. The cultivar is easy to maintain, tolerates salt, and is generally pest-free.
