Description
Pink-ribbed buds open into soft white-pink clusters across Kalmia latifolia Elf in late spring and early summer, brightening a compact evergreen mound.
Its glossy dark-green foliage and dwarf 0.5–1.5 m scale suit moist acidic borders, low screens, and sheltered woodland edges. Grow it in partial shade, or in sun where the soil stays reliably moist.
Mulch with leaf mould or composted pine needles each spring. The plant is toxic if eaten, so keep it out of reach.
