Description

Soft, scalloped leaves form the low mound of Alchemilla mollis, with airy yellow flower sprays rising above them from summer into fall. The foliage catches beads of rain, and the spreading clumps cover bare soil or soften a path edge.

Plant it in sun or shade in moist but well-drained soil. Cut the plant to the base after flowering and water well for fresh foliage. It can self-seed freely, so remove faded flowers before seeds mature when extra plants are not wanted.
